Because I Like Useful Websites!

I give you, some useful websites (thanks to RealSimple.com, my favorite magazine!). As a note, none of these are sponsored websites. I just love sharing the love. Of course, if someone wants to pay me, I'm more than happy to take the cash money!

• www.fileritem.com: This website helps you fill in those extra couple of bucks on Amazon.com when you really want that free shipping (and don't have the amazing Prime service like I do). Just go there, type in the amount you need to be filled in for the free shipping at $25.00 and it'll give you a list of items!
• www.web2pdfconvert.com: I'm a fan of CutePDF for my PDF needs, but this site provides a similar service. Type in the URL you want put in PDF form and call it a day!
• Looking for 400 calorie meal menus? www.realsimple.com/400calories!
• If you're in the need for some classy, unique invitations, I encourage you to check out www.QuiteLikeIt.com, the boutique of my two BFFs, who are working on my designs, or www.realsimple.com/invite for some great and snazzy ideas.
• Skip evite.com and check out MyPunchBowl.com if you're planning a Purim partizzle. 
• If you're lazy, in a pinch, and you need a CV or Resume, then you need to hit up CeeVee.com. It's definitely the answer to the modern, busy, and procrastinating individual in the need for a knock-out CV.

Domain Me!

You might have heard, you might not have, but I've purchased a couple domain names, and the one that now links to my blog is www.kvetchingeditor.com . Yes, I'm the proud owner of my unique moniker that when Googled will give you my Twitter, Facebook, Brightkite, Flickr, etc. And now? It's all mine!! (Along with Chaviva.net, but not sure what I'm going to do with that yet.) I don't know how this will affect the actual blog, but I'm pretty sure mamaloshen.blogspot.com will still get you here. If you run into any problems, though, please let me know.

So now, I'm going to try and find someone to do some type of digital caricature of me to plop on that couch up there, to sort of create the "Chaviva of the net," the one who surfs Web 2.0 as if it were a gentle, gentle wave. I'm going to tap my graphicy design friends, but if you want to give it a go, let me know. I'm picturing me, in a long skirt, sweater maybe, in a couch-sitting position. Is this idea silly? I'm not sure what the compensation will be. It'll fit the person who does it up, of course.

Listen, I'm not saying it's *good,* but it is kind of amusing ... and this is just a reminder that Rosh Hashanah IS NOT that far away. So, you know, buy something nice from Zelda's before the super special early bird sale is over on Sept. 10, mmk? Of course, as a poor graduate student, I'll take handouts :)
